BEHIND THE SCENE: On my travels throughout the world, I often go to extreme lengths to capture the perfect photograph in a particular location. This adventure along the Oregon coast was no exception. Gale force winds accompanied sideways blowing rain for days without end. The exceptionally bad weather was especially problematic because I had already lost the better part of a week and was scheduled to fly home to Venice Beach the following afternoon. Despite the fierce winds and rain, I had been scouting the coastline for the image I had envisioned. At long last, I found my way to Chapman Point and knew instantly that this is where the magic would happen. On my very last afternoon, the skies started clearing and I shot like a madman. I captured several hundred images that day, but this is one the I loved most and chose for my portfolio.
