There had been a torrential downpour earlier in the day and as the skies began to clear, huge, cumulus clouds gathered overhead. I snapped a few photos just to capture the moment, but thought the real magic would happen after the sun went down. The clouds began to clear as the evening went on and soon the sky was filled with a veritable sea of stars. The moon was full and its light falling upon the mountains was truly breathtaking.
